LOCATION AND MAP
Located in picturesque Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island, the Lighthouse RV Park is easy to find.
From the Ferry at Departure Bay Nanaimo: The Lighthouse RV Park is an easy drive north on Highway 19 to the Fanny Bay Exit. This exit takes you to Highway 19A. Turn left onto 19A and follow it for 2 km. The RV park is located on the right hand side behind the Fanny Bay Service Station (Tempo Gas Station).
From the Airport at Courtenay/Comox: Take Highway 19 South to the Buckley Bay Exit, turn right onto Highway 19A and drive 3 km South to our park.
RATES
CAMPING: $23.00 per site per night (plus applicable taxes)
2 PERSONS/RV $35.00 per night (plus applicable taxes. Full Hookup is included - 30 amp electrical service, water, sewer)
Additional Persons $5.00/person (plus all applicable taxes)
There are no additional charges for children under the age of 10 years.
WEEKLY RATE: $220.00 per week (plus applicable taxes. Full Hookup is included - 30 amp electrical service, water, sewer)
MONTHLY RATES: Please call to enquire about long term stays
REGISTRATION
Please register at the RV Office located in the Park area near the boat launch.
Self Service Registration is availabel in the event the RV Park Office is closed. You will find the self registration area at the park entrance where there is a a registration booth. The booth has the required registration and information forms. Complete the registration form enclosing your payment and place the sealed envelope in the lock box located at the booth. If paying by credit card (VISA and Mastercard are accepted), the park manager will assist you in processing the credit card information.
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to be on the foreshore and boat basin area without a competent adult to supervise the children.
PETS
Small dogs are permitted on the property. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their pets are not disruptive. Dogs are required to be leashed. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
RESTAURANT
There is a restaurant located beside the Fanny Bay service station. The restaurant features a variety of food and the creative chef uses as many local ingredients as possible.
GAS STATION
The Tempo Gas Station contains a convenience store with movie rental as well as gas, diesel, and propane.
BOAT LAUNCH
A boat launch is on site. Lighthouse RV Park guests and non-guests can use the boat launch at their own risk. For RV Park guests, use of the boat launch is complimentary. For non-guests a daily fee of $10 (including taxes) is charged. A seasonal pass can be purchased for $50 and is valid from May 15th to October 1st.
FIRE WOOD
Firewood is available for purchase. The cost is $5/bundle including taxes.
